Writing and co-producing all of his catalogue, his songs on Spotify alone have amassed over 200k streams while outlets such as @imnotfromlondon note how Miller’s writing style balances “creating something that feels large without losing its personal edge.” Walter also remains an incredibly active presence on social media with his TikTok account having over 15k followers. When asked about his thoughts on his future releases, Miller excitedly shares that “the best is yet to come!”
Beginning his singing career at age eight and writing/producing since age 14, Walter Miller has been preparing his entire life for this very moment. The past few years have seen the young superstar touring and playing festival sets across the country as well as singing in venues as large as the Superdome, Alex Box Stadium, the Smoothie King Center, and the Cajun Dome.
Getting his start on stage in musical theater, Miller would go on to star in various roles in 20 different productions as he began to write his own material. He spent his time in undergrad at LSU crafting his debut album before he began playing shows professionally. Packing his bags and moving to Nashville upon receiving his degree, Miller began writing for others and performing on the downtown strip before being accepted into NYU’s Music Business Program. While in their program, Miller honed in on his artistic identity, cracked into a marketing strategy that stays true to his voice, and began releasing what critics and fans alike are hailing as the best music of his career so far. As his new album’s release draws closer, no one is ready for the reign of Walter Miller.
